Our Mission
The noble mission of the Jivitadana Sangha Hospital since its establishment is to provide medical treatment to the sick irrespective of nationality, race, sex, religion, social status wealth or poverty. It is a non profit, non government humanitarian organization dependent on generous donations of the well wishers.

The following buildings have been constructed on the 1.962 acre plot of land belonging to the hospital

Out of the above buildings, Thawutti, Varanasi and Rajgir buildings are being used as in-patient wards for monks while Ziwaka is being used as an out-patient department for monks. The nuns hospital includes in- patient wards, out-patient department and an operation theatre for female patients.
Specialist Out-patients department, Laboratory, Medical Stores, Male Operation Theatres for General Surgery. Urology, Eye operations and Ear, Nose and Throat operations are housed in Wayzayantar Building.
Zaytawun building is provided accomodation for
(a) Out-patient Department for lay person
(b) Out-patient Department for Eye ailments
(c) Seperate In-patient ward for monks who have undergone Eye Surgery
(d) Medical Stores.
